| SimReal - Elastic collision |
|
This is a part of a simulation program to study the conservation of energy and linear momentum in an elastic collision. In the simulation program the path of the two balls can be drawn (not shown here) and the collision can be studied in detail. Move the stick and click to hit the white ball. The stick always points towards the white ball. The greater distance between stick and ball, the greater speed of the ball. The balls can be moved to different start positions. No friction, the movement of the balls follow the conservation of mechanical energy and linear momentum. Stop: Click the reset button. Start: Click the run button. |
